Kill-house isn't too bad if you set up a private match with a couple friends and do the "Old-School" free-for-all... or just have everyone use pistols only.

Yeah, I was hoping to see the "Hardcore Free for All" this weekend... and I'm also looking forward to the playlist that disables all the perks (i.e. juggernaut, martyrdom, etc.)...

PS3 has done well to close the gap... and the 360 continues to do well even with the combined PS3/Wii competition... HOWEVER, some have said that the PS3 will get closer in '09... if "closer" means within 3 to 4 million consoles, that still means the PS3 won't equal 360 sales until realistically 2010 (at the earliest) or 2011. That's not a knock on PS3 or the 360,... it just means that both camps have taken risks and will reap the full benefits of their strategies in this generatio...

... maybe I'm missing something... so, you're saying you have only 3 bubbles because you don't cheat the system... hmm, maybe, just possibly, people give you negative feedback because you think your opinion is the only one that matters... maybe you should think about posting more balanced opinions that acknowledge the fact that others may see things differently (no matter what fanbase)... all a person needs to do is post their opinion in a humble manner while acknowledging there are other opi...

I'm also looking forward to the next Battlefront... TFU's demo satisfies my Star Wars fix, however I think most gamers are patiently waiting for Battlefront III or the next KOTOR... or even another Jedi Academy. I guess for now, I'll settle for TFU and the upcoming Battlefront-esque version of Lord of the Rings.

Hydrolex... no true gamer should hope for any game to do bad on either system... if a great title is created on either system, it ups the ante and causes the competing system to strive for even better produced games... which ultimately benefits us, the gamers... that's common logic, I would think.

Also, you might want to re-read the GAMER ZONE Posting Guidelines... you know that part about civilized discussion and leaving fanboyism at the door. However, you haven't proven to s...

To say it's not a "pleasurable experience", wouldn't you need to actually play the game first?

I guess we all have our unique taste in what satisfies us in a game. I felt NGII was definitely worth the buy... the feeling I got from beating the game just on "Warrior" was something I hadn't felt from playing a single-player campaign in a while (not because of the story, but for overcoming the difficulty of some levels).

As for Too Human, it's a definite buy as well... for me that is. We all have different tastes... neither good or bad... just different. So, i...

It's refreshing to see someone respect other opinions... good on ya.

The reason this story is news-worthy (in my humble opinion) is because of the months of widely spread criticism Too Human has endured... even with the countless nay-sayers, it has still logged over a million downloads.. this can be attributed to a lot of things, but nevertheless, it's still a good beginning.

There's actually not that many titles that get over a million demo downloads... comparing this to something like Madden is not logical, because most football fans are downl...

Any time I see "Essential" gear for gaming in a title, I get excited to hit the link and see some new gadget or idea that I might be missing out on... some new technology or something I haven't heard of. Well... this was obviously not that kind of article... I know the guy writing the article was trying to be funny (and parts made me somewhat grin... well, not really), but his attempt at humor was even weak... oh well...

I don't know if I'd give it a 9.5, but it would be in the 8.5-9.0 region... It's definitely a good time. What I'm liking most about this Soul Calibur IV is how easy it is to create most anyone we can imagine... here's an example of the possiblities... attached are my created Colossus, Nightwing, Powergirl, Green Arrow, Supergirl, and the Martian Manhunter:

I'm looking forward to it... everyone needs to escape into a good science fiction story every now and then. Many people have already spent multiple hours just playing the demo. With the depth of character customization and co-op, I'll be very satisfied.

I noticed that too... he practically bashes it for most of the article and then finishes with saying that he can't wait to get his hands on the final version. His writing style needs work.

I hear ya... being able to create our own league or maybe just team up with a brother or friend and become a feared duo... awesome... I imagine Comic-Con will reveal more soon.

This is the kind of game that I've been waiting twenty years for... ever since I started reading comics back in the 80s, I've always wanted live action movies of the characters (which we're starting to get more of) and I've always wanted a video game that can do justice to the genre... hope this game delivers. I'm expecting it to.

... I see where you're coming from... It still has about a year and a half before the anticipated release (Dec 09'), though.

As a guy who loves comics and video games, this is the ultimate... I wish it was multi-plat for the XBox 360, but seeing that it's likely to stay PS3 exclusive, I'll be purchasing the PS3 for this one.

I think it's a sound economic move for both Microsoft and Square Enix. I'm not so sure Microsoft's sole intent was to "slap" Sony in the face... it just made good business sense to add a title that many gamers will likely buy. I also don't think it hurts Sony (other than some feelings).

... you're right,... he's making a living in a career he loves. Like someone mentioned earlier, he's a gamer... he's a hard-core gamer and it shows in his personality. I honestly wouldn't want him to tone down. Any outspoken person, no matter how right or wrong, they'll always have an opposition.
